High-Temperature Sheet Wax for Precision Tooling, Casting & Composite Applications
HT-260 Sheet Wax is a specialty high-temperature sheet wax formulated for use in casting, laminating, tooling, and composite manufacturing processes where elevated temperatures are encountered during curing.
Unlike conventional sheet waxes, HT-260 maintains its shape at temperatures up to 260°F (126°C), making it suitable for resin systems that generate heat during cure or require elevated-temperature processing. At approximately 300°F (150°C), the wax melts into a free-flowing liquid. HT-260 combines excellent temperature resistance with flexibility and workability. The material remains tough yet easy to cut, shape, contour, and position at room temperature, making it particularly useful for establishing controlled thicknesses, creating offsets, producing patterns, and forming cores.
The sheet wax is available with a plain surface or with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for easy attachment to virtually any suitable surface.

- Fractional thicknesses: 1/64″ to 1/2″
- Decimal thicknesses: .007″ to .500″
- Metric thicknesses: up to 12.7 mm
