Universal Liquid Pigment for Epoxy & Polyurethane Resins (TECHNO-DROP™)
TECHNO-DROP™ Universal Liquid Pigments are highly concentrated, phthalate-free, UV-resistant colorants engineered for precise coloration of epoxy and polyurethane resin systems. When added in small quantities to epoxy or urethane formulations, these pigments produce uniform, opaque parts without compromising system performance when used within recommended limits.
TECHNO-DROP™ pigments are designed to disperse rapidly and evenly into liquid resin matrices, delivering consistent color development and repeatable results across a wide range of industrial, woodworking, and manufacturing applications.
Compatible Resin Systems
-
Epoxy resins (casting, laminating, coatings, adhesives, potting)
-
Polyurethane resins (rigid and elastomeric systems)
-

Recommended Dosage
-
Typical dosage range: 0.01% to 3% by total system weight
Due to the high concentration of TECHNO-DROP™ pigments, very small quantities are sufficient to color large volumes of liquid epoxy or polyurethane.
-
Lower dosages produce translucent or lightly tinted effects
-
Higher dosages increase opacity and color intensity
⚠️ Do not overload the resin system. Excessive pigment loading may:
-
Inhibit or slow polymerization
-
Cause surface bleeding or exudation
-
Negatively affect final performance
User Guidance & Color Adjustment
The user determines the final pigment quantity based on the desired color intensity.
When using a pigment for the first time in an epoxy or polyurethane system, it is strongly recommended to:
-
Add a few drops of pigment to a small test batch of resin
-
Mix thoroughly and observe the resulting color
-
Adjust dosage progressively until the desired shade and opacity are achieved
Multiple test iterations may be required to reach the target color.
Important: Color results may vary depending on the UV resistance and formulation of the epoxy or polyurethane system used.
Mixing Guidelines
-
Pre-mix resin Part A thoroughly before pigmentation
-
Add TECHNO-DROP™ pigment gradually while mixing
-
Mix until complete color homogeneity is achieved
-
Add Part B (hardener) according to the resin manufacturer’s specified ratio
-
Mix thoroughly, scraping sides and bottom of the container
