High Compressive Strength Thixotropic Epoxy Putty for Precision Jigs & Repairs
High Compressive Strength Epoxy Putty for Precision Tooling Repair. TECHNO FIX™ 553-15 is a high-performance, two-component thixotropic epoxy putty engineered for filling, shaping, and repairing precision jigs, tooling, and structural components in aerospace and industrial environments. Its advanced 100% solids formulation provides exceptional dimensional stability, near-zero shrinkage, and outstanding compressive strength.
Designed for demanding applications, this epoxy putty maintains its position without sagging—even on vertical or overhead surfaces—making it ideal for thick builds and complex geometries. It bonds strongly to aluminum, composites, alloys, and engineering plastics, ensuring reliable performance across a wide range of substrates.
With a fast curing time of approximately 2–3 hours at room temperature, TECHNO FIX™ 553-15 enables rapid turnaround for repairs and adjustments. Once cured, the material becomes fully machinable, allowing drilling, milling, sanding, and threading without cracking or chipping.
Ideal for precision jig fabrication, tooling repair, structural fairing, and component positioning, this epoxy putty is widely used in aerospace, manufacturing, and high-tech industrial sectors where accuracy, strength, and reliability are critical.

• Machinable (drilling, milling, threading) without cracking or chipping. Can be sanded
• Fast curing.
• Near-zero shrinkage.
• Compatible with subsequent painting, coating, or bonding.
• Can be used as a filler, repair putty, or for securing localized anchors.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Measure 2 parts of A and 1 part of B by volume, or 100 parts of A to 45 parts of B by weight, and mix thoroughly until a uniform color is achieved. Take care to minimize air entrapment during mixing. Using a good release agent such as our TECHNO RELEASE 113 will facilitate demolding, if required.
Uncured material can be cleaned with our eco-friendly cleaner, POLY CLEANER™.
