Description
Flexible Clear Platinum Cure Silicone Rubber for Molds. SILCAST™ 45 CLEAR is a low-viscosity, platinum-cure silicone rubber designed for transparent molds requiring excellent detail reproduction, durability, and high temperature resistance. This semi-flexible silicone system cures at room temperature and produces clear molds ideal for resin casting, prototyping, jewelry, architectural elements, candles, soaps, chocolate molds, and industrial tooling applications. Thanks to its excellent flowability and leveling properties, SILCAST™ 45 CLEAR accurately reproduces the finest details and complex patterns while maintaining outstanding mechanical strength and tear resistance. Platinum-cured silicone molds also provide superior surface finish when casting clear resins.
This system is food-grade compliant (FDA 21 CFR 177.2600) and can withstand operating temperatures from 50°C up to 200°C, making it suitable for both industrial and food-related molding applications.
