TECHNO COAT™ 8020 is a 2-part epoxy surface gel coat formulated with 100% reactive materials, offering moderate viscosity, fast room-temperature curing, and excellent surface detail reproduction. Its thixotropic formula allows application at 0.025–0.030 inches without sagging, making it ideal for molds, dies, and fiberglass-reinforced composite parts.With a 30-minute pot life, 2-hour gel time, and full cure in 24 hours, it provides low shrinkage, high chemical resistance, and a durable 87D Shore hardness. It is also well suited as a mold coating for MDF molds used in vacuum forming, creating a smooth, sealed, and long-lasting surface. Available in white, gray, and black, and compatible with TECHNO LAM™ 8090 laminating resin.
