Epoxy Resin for Underground Concrete Pipe Repair & Restoration. Our TECHNO LAM™ 8887 system is a thixotropic laminating epoxy resin, 100% solids or reactive materials. It’s specially designed for rehabilitating municipal and residential underground conduits. This viscous and thixotropic liquid offers rapid curing at low temperatures, coupled with excellent performance in humid environments. Ideal for use from October to May (10°C to 15°C) based on seasonal temperatures, for sections ranging from 3 to 10 linear feet.

With its excellent substrate wetting property, it ensures thorough coverage and strong adhesion, enhancing the longevity of repairs. The rapid physical property development of this resin allows for optimal strength and durability even in low-temperature environments, providing reliable performance throughout the year. Its vertical application capability enables precise repairs without sagging, maintaining structural integrity. Concrete Conduit Rehabilitation Epoxy Resin

Make sure the conduit is clean and dry, without any water collecting. Thoroughly apply resin to the fiber to keep water out. Following standard lamination methods helps with this. Keep the balloon in place for 60-120 minutes, depending on temperature and thickness. This time can vary, so check it carefully. Speed up curing by using hot water or steam. Remember, the product is fragile after 24 hours. Always use reinforcing fabric like glass fiber or geotextile.

NOTE THAT THE PRODUCT AFTER 24 HOURS IS VERY BRITTLE. DO NOT USE WITHOUT REINFORCING FABRIC (GLASS FIBER, JUTE, GEOTEXTILE, FELT, ETC.).
