DESCRIPTION
Antibacterial & Chemical Resistant NOVOLAC Flooring Coating Epoxy. NOVOSHIELD™ 802F is a two-component, 100% solid, low-odor epoxy coating specifically designed for environments requiring high durability, chemical resistance, and antibacterial protection. Formulated with an advanced antibacterial additive, it actively inhibits bacterial growth, making it ideal for applications in food processing, pharmaceutical, and industrial facilities.
This thixotropic coating provides a seamless, waterproof, and lightly textured finish that is easy to clean and highly resistant to chemicals, abrasion, and ultraviolet exposure. Suitable for various substrates including concrete, wood, masonry, and drywall, NOVOSHIELD™ 802F ensures long-lasting protection with excellent hiding power and a quick return to service.

SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as dust, grease, oil, wax, and adhesives that may affect adhesion. Prior to application, roughen smooth surfaces for enhanced mechanical bonding.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Mixing:
- Pour Part B (small container) into Part A (large container).
- Use a mechanical drill with a mixing paddle and mix thoroughly for at least 10 minutes.
- Scrape the sides and bottom of the container with a spatula to ensure uniform consistency.
- Application:
- Apply immediately using a roller or a straight/notched squeegee.
- Maintain an even, seamless application to achieve the desired finish.
CURING TIME (At 22°C / 72°F)
- Pot Life (200g Mixture): 40 minutes
- Touch Dry: 6 to 10 hours
- Light Traffic: 24 hours
- Full Cure: 7 days

- Hydrochloric Acid (10%): Unaffected
- Sulfuric Acid (10%): Unaffected

- Isopropyl Alcohol: Unaffected
- Gasoline: Unaffected
- Salt (NaCl): Unaffected
LIMITATIONS
- Store in original, unopened containers for up to 1 year.
- Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.
- Apply in well-ventilated areas following proper safety precautions.
